Select New Customer from the Tool strip on the
Customers Tab.
You will now see a new customer tab with a unique Customer ID ready for your new customer details. The Customer Tab is where you store details about a particular customer.
Select the ‘Save and Close’ option from the tool strip on the new Customer Tab, this save all the new details and closes the tab.
Now add a new contact to this Customer. SBS allows you to create multiple contacts for a customer, enabling you to assign calls to a particular contact within that customers business.
Select the Products tab and select ‘Add’. The following screen will be displayed:
Select the product to add and press ‘OK’
The item will now appear in the product tab and should look much like the above.
Select the Attachments tab and select ‘Add’. The following screen will be displayed:
The item will now appear in the attachments tab and should look much like the above.
Select the Links tab and select ‘Add’. You will now be faced with three different types of links you can add. Call, customer or knowledge base. For this demonstration I have chosen ‘Call’.
The filter option on the Links screen works in the same way as all the other filters in SBS. Just enter the call ID, customer ID, customer name etc.. in the filter textbox and the matching calls will remain in the list. Select the call you wish to add and press ‘OK’.
The link should now appear in the links tab similar to the above.
